World Water Day 2022 'Realising the benefits of Scotland’s waters'

'Realising the benefits of Scotland’s waters'(Hybrid event)

…what has Scotland's water ever done for us? …what can we do for Scotland’s water?

World Water Day, held annually on 22nd March and proudly hosted by the Hydro Nation International Centre, focuses on the importance of freshwater. This 2022 World Water Day event will bring together Scotland’s water sector and water users in their various forms to understand the benefits of Scotland’s water as a resource and the key issues in its management. It will ask: what can we as individuals and communities of practice do to protect this precious resource and how should Scotland’s water community effectivity communicate and engage with wider society?

This full-day hybrid event welcoming Scotland’s water community & the informed public will include:

  • thought provoking presentations from the science, policy and industry communities
  • panel discussions and Q&A
  • dedicated networking sessions
  • the option of attending in-person in Edinburgh or via online live-stream
  • an event live-stream with interactive polls and virtual content, and much more!
